Our company, Contact Development Company, LLC, (CDC), is dedicated to the development of thoughtfully planned resort and residential communities. Careful planning and design criteria are established at the outset of every project to achieve an appropriate scale of development that respects the land and the local communities nearby. CDC's calls this "place appropriate development". For us to consider a project feasible and ultimately successful, everyone has to benefit including the environment and the local community. Equally as important are the desires of our customers who typically look far beyond the consideration of purchasing a vacation home as a solid long-term investment, but also seek a home and an authentic community experience in which they can create family memories for generations.
Originally founded by visionary leader, David G. Ellsworth, CDC has been involved in projects in Mexico since 1986 and has maintained offices in Mexico since 1997. One of CDC's most acclaimed projects is the highly successful Punta Mita resort community, Mexico's first private resort and residential community anchored by a Four Seasons and St. Regis resort hotel as well as two private Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses in which CDC, in a collaborative effort with the successful Mexican development company of Dine, S.A. de C.V., managed the process of the overall project conceptualization, positioning, and international marketing and sales. At present, CDC has its headquarters in Sausalito, California and an office in Sayulita, Mexico.
